By purchasing Brazil Igarape Rainforest beans, you are supporting the Institute for the Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon (IDESAM).
In 2019, there was a record increase in wildfires in the Amazon Forest. These fires have destroyed hectares of precious rainforest and have had a negative impact not only on the local climate, but also on the fauna, the water cycle and the Amazonian population.
For every container of Igarape sold, Volcafe Select donates an amount to IDESAM to cover the costs of protecting and replanting 1 hectare of rainforest.
Let's go back to the taste for a moment! The espresso is dominated by notes of milk chocolate and nuts with a long, sweet finish. It is a great choice for the espresso machine or moka pot. Definitely recommended as a milk variation!
