Parainema from Jorge Anival Ventura, the owner of Finca El Playon, delights with its flavour profile. A subtle hint of oolong tea complements the distinct notes of apples and cherries. The coffee has a round body, a complex structure, and a long, smooth finish.

This lot underwent anaerobic fermentation, a process that brings out the full range of aromas and flavors. Careful control of temperature and fermentation time allows for an even greater extraction of sweetness.

Finca El Playon, located at an altitude of 1,400 meters in the Ocotepeque region of Honduras, is where Jorge, a certified Q-grader and the owner, cultivates his coffees. Most of the crops are Parainema and Pacas varieties, with a small area dedicated to micro-lot Bourbons. Thanks to Jorge's experience as both a grower and roaster, as well as a coffee shop owner, these beans reflect the meticulous care and dedication he brings to every step of the process to deliver a product of the highest quality.
