Our latest Ethiopian beans thrive in the heart of the Guji highlands in the country’s south. The washed process refines their elegance, highlighting crisp notes of peach and black tea. A touch of caramel toffee adds smoothness, creating a balanced and polished profile. This meticulous processing is a seamless blend of Ethiopia’s rich farming traditions and cutting-edge techniques.
Dimtu is one of the most technologically advanced washing stations in Yirgacheffe. Situated at 2,100–2,300 meters above sea level, it sources cherries from local farmers who have nurtured Arabica trees in fertile volcanic soil for generations. The unique conditions—significant temperature fluctuations between day and night and the slow ripening of the fruit—enhance the coffee’s natural sweetness and density.
Varieties 74112 and 74158, developed in the 1970s by the Jimma research centre, combine resilience with exceptional flavour clarity. Their bright, floral-citrus character shines through in every cup, offering a brew that is both refined and vibrant.
